About
Link Studio is a biomedical visual communications studio where scientific, behavioral, and design best practices intersect. Our design is informed and we design to inform by distilling the essential elements for an effective outcome: understanding you and your objectives, knowing your audience, conveying the message, and guiding your audience’s experience resulting in the desired behavior. Through informed design we make information accessible and engaging so that your audience can make an informed choice.
Aline Lin
Principal
Aline’s early interest in user experience, how people think, and why they do what they do goes back to her undergraduate years studying psychology. Since then she has melded her multiple interests in design, illustration, UX, and science into her daily work at Link Studio.
Aline has directed, designed and coordinated projects involving a diverse group of team members for clients such as the National Library of Medicine, Smithsonian Institutions, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and the American Institutes of Architects. She views every client and project as a unique opportunity to visually communicate, distill and organize simple to complex information in a variety of media with a distinct cohesive voice.
Since launching Link Studio, Aline has created Astriata, a creative design agency with a focus on user experience (UX) and UserHappy, a usability testing application for gaining insights on the “why” behind user behavior.
